MARILYN BOLLON
FIRST APPEARANCE: April 1956
LAST APPEARANCE: March 4, 1957
PERFORMER: Mary Alice Moor
EXIT: Bludgeoned to death.
LAST LINE: "Somebody else knows...somebody else knows Cora's invitation was rigged."
RELATIONSHIPS: Harry Lane. Douglas "Duke" Manson.
FUN FACT: The death of Marilyn Bollon was Edge's first official murder case that resulted in a criminal legal proceeding.
As Harry Lane's secretary, Marilyn Bollon was privy to all of his criminal activities -fencing stolen goods through Lane Trucking, cheating Winston Grimsley in a business deal, and promising a payoff to Martin Spode's ill wife if Martin confessed to Harry's crimes. Using this information, Marilyn extorted money from Harry while tormenting his beleaguered, alcoholic wife Cora. By early 1957, Marilyn demanded a big payoff from her boss, and he delivered. Luring her to his home, he bludgeoned her to death with a whiskey bottle in Cora's bedroom closet and then framed his wife for the crime.
