ACT TWO
April is sure that her mother didn't die in the mental hospital. She says that maybe the people at the hospital were afraid to admit that they made a mistake. April is sure that she saw her mother in Northboro. Draper wants to know if April's mother doesn't show up, does that mean that April isn't psychic. April insists that her mother will visit. They go to the bedroom and watch Nicole on the news. Nicole is talking about Calvin's arrest of Elliot Dorn for vagrancy and disorderly conduct after he created a disturbance in a supper club on Tremont Avenue called "Tiny's". Nicole interviews Deborah Saxon, who was responsible for putting an end to Dorn's quasi-religious group, by exposing murders committed by Dorn's assistant Cody Patrick. Nicole asks Deborah if she knew in the beginning that the deaths of defecting cult members weren't suicides, but murders instead. Deborah states that the police don't prejudge, even though the circumstances were suspicious. Deborah gives credit to Dorn for her life because he told Det. Guthrie where Cody Patrick had taken her. Deborah has mixed feelings about Dorn's arrest. They don't have evidence that Elliot knew anything about what Cody was doing. Calvin joins the interview to explain the arrest. Calvin was at Tiny's when a drunken Elliot came in to borrow money from Star Wilson. Dorn made a scene, and Calvin arrested him. Diana Selkirk, Mike, and Nancy also watch the news. Diana is disgusted and turns the television off. She feels sorry for Elliot. "What have they done to him?" she asks.

ACT THREE
Scene One
Nancy talks to Diana and tells her that Elliot brought this on himself. Mike says, "But as you just heard, he was running a venal enterprise and was calling it a religion. Can you have sympathy for that man, Diana?" Diana realizes that Cody Patrick was the cause and probably corrupted Elliot. Diana asks Mike if he can help Dorn. After all, Dorn was very nice to her, took her in when she needed it, and allowed her to leave the group without saying a killing prayer. She flatters Mike, who then agrees to see what he can do. She is so happy, she hugs Mike. Nancy notices the attention that the young girl is paying to Mike.
Scene Two
Nicole has finished the news broadcast. Miles comes to pick her up from the studio. Nicole asks about April. Miles tells Nicole that April is still waiting for her dead mother to come back to life.
COMMERCIAL
ACT FOUR
Scene One
Nicole says that they should stop over by the Scott's. Miles says that April's uneasiness will stop when their mother doesn't show. Nicole is worried because so many of April's premonitions have come true. Miles tells her that their mother has been dead for twelve years, and there were witnesses to the drowning. Miles and Nicole talk about their wedding plans, and they leave to get something to eat before going to April and Draper's.
Scene Two
At the Scott apartment, Draper has fallen asleep. April stares out the window and flashes back to the house in Northboro and seeing a tombstone with her name on it. She snaps back to the present and covers Draper with a blanket, and then she flashes back to trying to show the tombstone to Miles and Draper, but it had disappeared. April has another flashback of the house in Northboro and realizing that someone had been there. She hears a door close. She follows and runs outside where she sees the shadowy figure of her mother standing on a hill. April is brought back to the present and sounds of footsteps coming down the hall. Then the doorbell rings. "It's her. I know it's her. It's my mother," she says.

ACT FIVE
April asks who's at the door. She then opens the door and looks at the person on the other side. "It's you. What do you want? " April asks. Draper awakens and goes to the door. He sees that it's Margo. Margo asks why everyone is staring at her. April says, "I thought you were my mother." "You are right, April. I AM your mother, " Margo replies. COMMERCIAL
